Our School was first opened in  1869, it consisted of four large rooms and two smaller ones. At that time 300 barefoot pupils attended, we have come a long way! Today Brunner is a medium sized urban school, based on North Brunswick Street, with 183 pupils on the roll. The original school building still stands although today our school is a mixture of old and new architecture. The New building joins up with the old at the entrance, a meeting of the traditional and modern.
